[ˈdaːzaɪn] (phonetic language for the german word “Dasein” which is also used as a philosophical term purely meaning “existing”) is an audiovisual realtime performance by the Austrian duo S ECTI VE (Arno Deutschbauer & Micha Elias Pichlkastner) that explores both the increasing detachment from our own bodies and our immediate surroundings due to the rapid increase of digital and virtual communication as well as the effect this shift has on our mental and physical health.
